Protection, conservation, promotion and enhancement of Libraries and public historical archives.
These are the intentions behind thePublic Notice through which the Calabria Region implements 4,600,000 euros, intended for the implementation of projects by two macro areas of beneficiaries:
Macro Area 1: Local Authorities and other Public Administrations responsible for libraries;
Macro Area 2: Local Authorities and other Public Administrations responsible for Historical archives.
The target is to promote initiatives that strengthen the link between territorial identity, culture and sustainable tourism; enhance cultural sites and resources in relation to libraries and historical archives; enhance the cultural attractors present in the main regional tourist destinations and in the ARS.
In particular, the organization intends to support the enhancement of the heritage raising the standards of offering cultural services and promoting the processes of digitalisation to encourage greater dissemination and use of the heritage itself.
The deadline for the tender is set at March 31, 2023 and the projects (which must be completed by October 2, 2023) will be financed up to 100% of eligible expenses, based on 3 types of intervention:
