To the North Star Dubai, from 10 to 13 October 2022, Noitech will be there. Our innovative SME, with which we accompany companies in the digital transformation path for entry into Industry 4.0, will in fact be present at the Dubai World Trade Center forThe largest global event dedicated to Startups. A prestigious opportunity that is due to Italian Trade Agency (ITA), selector of 25 innovative Italian startups and SMEs to occupy the 230 m2 space dedicated to the Italian pavilion.
But there's more. Noitech is in fact competing to obtain a place at the contextual event Supernova Challenge. Organized by Gitex, it is the largest competition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, with a prize of $200,000.
ITA, to clarify the importance of the selection received, refers toICE Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, established by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
For the 2021 edition of North Star Dubai, 23 of the 45 startups present in the Italian pavilion were present thanks to the collective organized by ITA. An event, the one in the Emirates, which on a global level therefore represents the most important event in the sector and brings together the main players in the ICT sector in Dubai, with particular reference to the new sectors of IoT (Internet of Things), Big Data, Smart cities, Cloud computing, virtual reality and Cyber security throughout the MENA area (Middle East North Africa), GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council), Europe and Africa.
The Word to the CEO of Noitech
There can only be satisfaction and pride in the words with which our Administration and the CEO of Noitech, Riccardo Virtuoso, commented on the news of the possibility of attending North Star Dubai for the first time.

Satisfaction and gratitude, therefore, for yet another selection of Noitech by ICE. «It means being recognized as a highly reputable company – added the CEO of Noitech – and the selection for such an important event as North Star Dubai is worth further confirmation».
The endorsement obtained from ICE also allows Noitech the possibility of competing for another prestigious goal: we are in fact in the running to join the list of participants in the prestigious Supernova Challenge of North Star Dubai.
«A participation that does not depend directly on ICE – our CEO specified – but on the selection made by Gitex, the consortium organizing the challenge, which holds our candidacy. We hope to be able to make the news official soon».
Riccardo Virtuoso himself then clarified what it will be Noitech's contribution to North Star Dubai. «The added value that we will bring to North Star Dubai – he explained – is that ofartificial intelligence applied to warehouse logistics. In fact, we will bring ours to Dubai and the Supernova Challenge todrobot. A product resulting from the startup TOD System, a spinoff of Noitech».
However, Northstar will also be an opportunity to address the hundreds of investors and companies who will be present in Dubai for the great event.
«There is obviously an interest in growing thanks also to external investors – concluded Riccardo Virtuoso – but fundamentally we will look for business to business collaborations with companies and customers from the Arab and international world. North Star, after all, is primarily an international showcase. It is the place where all the world's technology players converge».
What to expect at North Star Dubai 2022
North Star Dubai was born with the aim of bringing together exhibitors and investors from all over the world and highlight the hottest sectors and trends on the global startup scene.
Termed as the rising startup capital of the world, North Star Dubai 2022 plans to host over 800 exhibitors from all over the world, beyond 400 speakers who will share their stories and more than 600 investors managers of a total capital exceeding 500 billion dollars.
An immense fund raising opportunity, therefore, for those startups that will be able to seize it.
For investors, the program reserved by North Star Dubai will also be the largest ever, with an increase in 50% holdings compared to the last edition and a great opportunity to find qualified startups in which to invest.
For startups and investors, there will therefore be the possibility of having an ad hoc concierge service for the organization of 1-to-1 meetings which, according to estimates provided directly by the organizers of the great world exhibition, will number approximately 2,400 in 2022. An average of 30 meetings a day for each investor who, in turn, expects to invest an average of one and a half million dollars.
On the exhibitor side, however, North Star Dubai aims to bring together the most influential players in the global startup ecosystem so that they can have the opportunity to expose and put your products and services under the spotlight, to gain access to meetings with world-class mentors and, of course, to find investors who can help them grow.
To provide a few more numbers, each startup will individually have the opportunity to come into contact with over 400 investors.
North Star Dubai 2022 will however also be the place where the future of technology will take shape through conferences, workshops and pioneering features.
Among the opportunities at North Star Dubai 2022 there will in fact be that of being able to participate in the aforementioned event Supernova Challenge while, for students and educational institutions, North Star has also provided the GITEX YouthC.
The latter will provide a platform through which over 700 startups will be able to showcase their projects to a global audience of 100 thousand people including industry leaders and world-class government bodies.
Lastly, NorthStar Dubai will also host the exhibitions of the finalists of the “Move the World” innovation cup.
The latter offers solutions dedicated to high-impact startups to transform the various sectors of the last mile and logistics, food retailing and e-commerce, but also aviation, the medical/pharmaceutical sector, construction, tourism, etc.
